Because Family of Four is better than Three

Last year, the Hahn Family was over the moon with the news that baby Oliver was about to be born in just a month. Phoebe and I were friends for many years, so the biggest gift I can bring to her family was to provide her the best maternity and family photo session. The spring weather in Spring, Texas was gorgeous. It was a sunny day, so I knew the photos will come out amazing with rays of sun light. On sunny days, it can be tricky to find the right spot. It is even more difficult for a family with young kids because the heat can quickly exhaust the members and we won't be able to get genuine smiles and happiness from them.  Nonetheless, I was able to snap and authentically capture the pure joy coming from each and every single one member of the family (including the little bun in the oven). They were smiling away when I told them how excited they were to welcome tiny little brother Oliver.

People say whenever you find your favorite photographer, you will always come back no matter what. The Hahn family invited me to capture baby Oliver's first Fall and Christmas season. This location is located in Magnolia Texas. It is a beautiful wedding venue called Magnolia Green Texas. The trees here were perfectly crisp and golden in October. The leaves were falling down with every wind sweeping by creating the most magical event. What I love about family portrait is the outfits and Phoebe's Family does it so well every single time. The thing about family outfits for photoshoot is that they should be coordinated and well balanced. They shouldn't be an exact match, but rather have certain color and theme. In this Fall/Christmas photo session, Phoebe chose the theme to be "rich family with a serious business" and she wanted the main color to be black with complementary red.
